There have been over 80 characters throughout the Mortal Kombat series and with the way that MK11: Aftermath ended there are several directions that NetherRealm Studios could choose to take the game as it heads into not only Mortal Kombat 12 but future endeavors. While the current timeline has Jade as a revenant, Revenant Jade is weaker than the living version and hopefully, with the possible timeline changes, the living Jade may see a return in MK12. She actually carries two weapons, yet her staff is the most enjoyable. Finally, Jade deserves a spot on this list for many reasons but first and foremost is that thanks partly to her staff, Jade is a fun, classic Mortal Kombat character.
